Vanessa Martin – BVM&S MRCVS – Veterinary Surgeon
Vanessa graduated in 1991 from Edinburgh. She began practicing in Yorkshire and then in the local area in 1996, joining us at Kingsnorth in September 2004. She is kept busy by her family and pets, with a passion for riding and competing.
Emma Baker – BVSc MRCVS – Veterinary Surgeon
Emma joined us in 2018 and divides her time between our Lydd and Kingsnorth branches.
Ana Pereira – MRCVS – Veterinary Surgeon
Sarah Startup – Group Practice Manager
Sarah has worked in veterinary practice since 1989 as a Receptionist. Sarah joined our Kingsnorth branch when it was opened in Summer 2001, becoming Branch Manager in 2007 and Group Practice Manager of Cinque Ports Vets & Milbourn Equine in 2016. She is assisted in her office by Izzy her rescue terrier.
Sandra Collins – Branch Manager
Sandra has been at Lydd since 1989 when it first opened and was also involved in the opening of our surgery at Kingsnorth.
Sandra has a special interest in tortoises and currently has three in residence that she rescued. Throughout her career she has also been involved in the rehoming of many dogs.
Natasha Keep – RVN ISFM Cert FN- Head Veterinary Nurse
Natasha joined our Practice in 1993 and attained a lifelong ambition and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2009. Natasha takes an interest in all aspects of her work but is particularly interested in dentistry. Natasha has also completed a certificate in Feline Friendly Nursing.
Jessica Hutchens -RVN- Veterinary Nurse
Jessica has always wanted to be a veterinary nurse from a very young age and began nursing in 2005. Jessica qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2009 and joined our Lydd branch in 2013. Her spare time is spent looking after her children, her two cats Tilly and Winston and her guinea pigs.
Julie Macey – Head Receptionist
Julie joined the surgery in January 2009 and has 13 years experience in veterinary nursing and working as a veterinary receptionist. Julie has a keen interest in canine behaviour and qualified with a credit in intermediate canine psychology through the Animal Care College at Ascot. Julie spends most weekends competing at agility shows across the South East.
Susan Linford – Receptionist
Susan has been with the surgery since November 2008 and came to us from her role as a doctor’s receptionist. She has a cat called Molly who is keeping her busy with her antics.
Carol Rose – Receptionist
Carol joined our Lydd branch in 2018, having previously worked at our Tenterden and Kingsnorth branches. Carol is kept busy in her spare time with her dog Bailey who loves walks on the beach and her cat Stan…who is the boss!
