Sharon Marsh – BVetMed. MRCVS – Veterinary Surgeon and Clinical Director
Sharon joined Cinque Ports Vets in 1993 as a new Graduate initially working at the Rye and Lydd branches. Sharon developed her interests in small animal medicine and surgery and in 2009 became a Director of Cinque Ports Vets and Milbourn Equine. She is responsible for all our small animal branches.
In her spare time Sharon and her husband Simon enjoy spending time with their two sons Will and Ed. Sharon enjoys sailing her laser from Rye Harbour sailing club with the family, surfing and walking her dogs Fred and Lottie.
Mark Neall – BVSc CertVC CertAVP (SAM) MRCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Medicine – Veterinary Surgeon and Hospital Director
Mark graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2004. He enjoys all aspects of his work, and has obtained RCVS post graduate certificates in both cardiology and small animal medicine. Mark lives in Ashford with his family, two cats, a tortoise and tropical fish, and in his spare time enjoys fishing, gardening and astronomy. Having initially joined our Kingsnorth branch in 2010, Mark rejoined us in 2014.
Jillian Hall – B.VetMed.CertAVP(VetGP)MRCVS – Veterinary Surgeon
Jillian graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2004. She has practiced in the local area since then, joining our Kingsnorth branch in 2009. Jillian gained her certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in 2012, inspired by her particular interest in surgery.
Vanessa Martin – BVM&S MRCVS- Veterinary Surgeon
Vanessa graduated in 1991 from Edinburgh. She began practicing in Yorkshire and then in the local area in 1996, joining us at Kingsnorth in September 2004. She too is kept busy by her family and pets, with a passion for riding and competing.
Abigail Waddington – BVM BVS MRCVS – Veterinary Surgeon
Abi graduated from Nottingham University in 2016 and joined the Kingsnorth team in 2017 after working elsewhere in Kent for a year. She is particularly interested in gastroenterology (the digestive system). Abi lives in Faversham and in her spare time she enjoys cooking and playing rugby for Ashford Ladies.
Yohann Glennie – BVetMed MRCVS – Veterinary Surgeon
Yohann qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 2002 , and has been working in small animal practice in Manchester, London and Kent since. He enjoys all aspects of caring for companion animals and joined Cinque Ports Vets in 2014.
When not working, he enjoys spending time with his young daughter, energetic Springer Spaniel and adventurous cat, as well as cycling and rowing when time permits!
Faye Rawson – BVetMed MRCVS – Veterinary Surgeon
Faye graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2018 and returned to Kent soon after joining us at Cinque Ports Vets. She has a particular interest in neurology, having visited numerous referral hospitals during her studies. In her spare time Faye divides herself between her family in Belgium and England, and is an avid gym goer.
Sarah Startup – Group Practice Manager and Branch Manager
Sarah has worked in veterinary practice since 1989 as a Receptionist. Sarah joined our Kingsnorth branch when it was opened in Summer 2001, becoming Branch Manager in 2007 and Group Practice Manager of Cinque Ports Vets & Milbourn Equine in 2016. She is assisted in her office by Izzy her rescue terrier.
Lee Bruin – RVN – Head Nurse
Lee began nursing in 1999 qualifying as a Veterinary Nurse in 2002. Lee joined the Kingsnorth branch in 2006 and is a Clinical Coach enabling her to train our student veterinary nurses. She frequently returns to Scotland to visit her family with any spare time taken up by her three very bouncy Labradors!
Kate Hills – RVN – Veterinary Nurse
Kate began nursing in 1998, qualifying as a Veterinary Nurse in 2008. She joined our Kingsnorth branch in 2007 and is kept busy by her family and many pets including Lola her dog.
Faye Goodacre – RVN – Veterinary Nurse
Faye joined our Kingsnorth branch in 2012 after qualifying as a Veterinary Nurse in the same year. She has a particular interest in radiography.
Lorraine Eason-RVN-Veterinary Nurse, Pet Health Counsellor
Lorraine qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2001 and joined our Kingsnorth branch in 2013. She has a particular interest in Ophthalmology and feline behaviour. Lorraine gained her Pet Health Counsellor qualification in 2007 enabling her to advise on a wide range of beneficial healthcare issues. In her spare time Lorraine enjoys yoga and Tai Chi.
Erica Cobb – RVN – Veterinary Nurse
Erica qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2012 and joined our Kingsnorth branch in 2016. She has a particular interest in anaesthesia and medicine and in her spare time enjoys travelling to and exploring new places, most of the time on the back of a motorbike.
Alexandra Findlay – RVN – Veterinary Nurse
Alexandra joined our Kingsnorth branch in 2014 as a Kennel Assisitant. Alexandra qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2018 and is interested in all aspects of animal care. Her spare time is spent caring for her two cats Pikachu and Zelda, her rabbit Lily and her Uromastyx (lizard), Nyah.
Beccy McColm – RVN – Veterinary Nurse
Beccy joined our Kingsnorth branch in 2018. She qualified in 2015 and has an interest in small furries and emergency critical care. In her spare time Beccy looks after her 3 horses, Ginny her one eyed Labrador and Wren her Sprocker Spaniel.
Megan Walker – RVN – Veterinary Nurse
Bethany Hooker – Kennel Assistant
Bethany joined our Kingsnorth branch in 2017 as our Kennel Assistant. Bethany is completely obsessed with cleaning! In her spare time if she isn’t cleaning Bethany is often kept busy with her family and two cats Baby and Lucky.
Lorna Tudball – Receptionist
Lorna joined our Kingsnorth branch as our Ambulance driver in 2005 going on to work as one of our Receptionists. Her spare time is taken up by a varied collection of pets including Barney the Jack Russell Terrier, two cats and several guinea pigs.
Andrea Found – Receptionist
Andrea joined our Kingsnorth branch in 2008 as a Receptionist. Andrea has studied at Folkestone College to gain her First and National Diploma in Animal Care. She is interested in all aspects of animal care and nursing, practicing with Smartie her Westie.
Jackie Willis – Receptionist
Jackie has been a Veterinary Receptionist since 2004 joining the Kingsnorth branch in 2008. She spends her spare time trying to wear out her two very lively Jack Russell Terriers Billy and Pip.
Julie Luke – Receptionist
Julie joined our Kingsnorth branch in 2010 as a Receptionist having worked in veterinary practice in the past. Her spare time is taken up looking after her cat Bilbo who she rehomed from the local branch of the Cats Protection.
Sophie Francis – Head Receptionist
Sophie joined our Kingsnorth branch in 2015 as a receptionist having worked in veterinary practices previously. In her spare time she is kept busy with her family and Labrador Flynn.
Andrianna Mason – Receptionist
Andrianna joined our Kingsnorth team in 2017 as a receptionist from a retail background. She is enjoying the new challenges and meeting all our clients and their pets. Andrianna has two naughty rescued cats and in her spare time she keeps fit and is involved in charity work.
Rachael Stooks – Personal Assistant
Rachael began nursing in 1998 gaining her Veterinary Nursing qualification in 2002. She joined our team at Tenterden in 2003, nursing for referral orthopaedic consultant Mr Gary Clayton-Jones. In 2008 she transferred to our Kingsnorth branch to continue nursing, becoming Personal Assistant to our Clinical Directors and Group Practice Manager in 2014.
